The Advanced & Creative Hair Professional qualification encourages you to create, plan and promote a collection of hairstyles and looks that reflect your own individuality.

Course Content:

Use fashion forward trends in hair, creative and precision techniques to create a collection of hairstyle looks:

• Research fashion forward trends
• Create a collection of hairstyle looks
• Present a collection of hair looks.

Smoothing and Straightening Services:

• Client consultation
• Smoothing and straightening

Advanced Creative Colour Conversion:

• Client consultation
• Creative colour conversion
• Advanced colour conversion (colour correction)

Assessment:

At the end of the course, Apprentices undertake a mandatory End Point Assessment, carried out by a City & Guilds independent assessor.

The assessment consists of three parts:

• Online knowledge Test
• Observation and questioning
• Professional discussion.

Requirements:

You must have completed the Hair Professional Apprenticeship or equivalent standard.

You are required to have L2 or equivalent in English and Maths, if not you will work to achieving L2 Functional Skills in either or both depending on your grades.
